Do you ever wish for a "do over"?
«

My day went beautifully.. but there are some things I would like to change..
The year - I would have preferred TWO years to prepare.. my body size.. and shape (round might be a shape, but its not the one i was most happy with!!) 2 of my bm's.. my hair.. head piece.... organisation.. 1 gm.. some of the guests.. and some other bits and pieces that pass me by in fleeting thoughts..
I know I'm not the only one who thinks it...
What would you change if you had a do-over??

Are you talking about a do over for the wedding?
If you are then I would love to have gone and gotten married on an island with just hubby and the kids but having said that I loved our wedding and really couldn't imagine it with out the friends and family.

There's a few extra people I would like to invite. And after the fiasco with our function coordinator, i might choose a different venue for our reception. oh and I'd change my make-up, make it a bit lighter and more natural.

Its nice to know I'm not the only one who, though I loved my day.. in hindsight would make some changes.... I guess that's why there's always the vow-renewals!! lol
I told hubby just 3 months after we married that at 10 years we're renewing our vows! lhaha!! I'll start the planning at 7 years and see it fulfilled on our 10th anniversary!
Works in theory!!

You are so not alone, I would change absolutely everything (well not how we looked, cause we were both pretty hot) heehee we settled and went with what my family wanted so if I had a chance to re-do over it would just be me and hubby on a beach with a celebrant celebrating our day just the 2 of us, with a really long photo shoot afterwards and no1 to whinge that i wasn't spending any of the day with them!
We will definitely be renewing our vows and doing just what I mentioned, will probably involve a trash the dress shoot afterwards cause I am dying to get some amazing photos on the beach at sunset! not sure whether it will be at our 5th or 10th but we will be doing it for sure!

THe only thing i would change would be to take more photos at the reception. So many people i would have loved to have gotten a photo with, but it never occured to me until it was all over.

I would have changed EVERYTHING!!!!!! I regret not doing what we originally wanted which was to elope. we were orginally going to go to the whitsundays or something and get married but it turned into "well this friend/family member will want to be there" so we didn't. I would change where we got married, the reception venue, the cake, who we had in the bridal party, the limo company. i did love our photographer and celebrant. I would change who was there. Not one of Dhs family members got up to give a speech.
The only thing abt the day we both loved is that we got married and our kids were wonderfully behaved, it was great to have them part of it. Aria was gorgeous just wondering around and sebastian stood there like a perfect gentleman.
We have already decided we will be doing a vow renewel and it will jsut be who we want there if anybody.

Aww Shantel, so sorry to hear that you regret alot of your plans.
Our kids were so well behaved as well and loved having them as part of our day.
